The concept of corporate social responsibility(CSR), arose in the 1970s, because of the urgent need of changing societal values and approach. CSR means, that Corporations and other Organizations demonstrate by taking initiative, that they are involved and committed to meeting community expectations, showing a high level of social awareness. Common initiatives of CSR programs include community support, good environmental practices and supporting animal welfare and animal rights.
